Cross-Coding

The incorrect assignment of the contents to particular lines is denoted as cross-coding in several publications. The most important reason shall be runs exceeding the end of lines, which will be decoded mistakenly.

Limiting the encoding process to single lines will avoid this problem in any case and for any type of decoder.
